10U Gold Headed for ASA Western B Nationals
The Carlsbad Softball Association is proud to announce that their girls, 10 and under all-star team has qualified for the Amatuer Softball Association of America’s Western "B" National Tournament being held in Clovis, CA in August. This is the first time a team from the Carlsbad league has qualified for the National tournament. The Carlsbad "C- Dawgz" began their odyssey by winning the 2011 North County District Championship tournament held last month in Vista. The North County District is comprised of 15 fast pitch leagues from around North County and the win advanced the team to the Southern California State Tournament in Lancaster held just two weeks ago. |

Announcing 24/7 Coaching and Training Resource
We have added a new section to our web site "Coaches Corner" / "24/7 Coaching Solution" that will give the volunteer Managers and Coaches vast resources to draw upon for teaching our girls the game of softball. It contains instructional videos with guides on how to teach and instruct girls from beginner to advance players. It has suggestions on how run practices. It demonstrates various individual and team drills. It even gives detail weekly practice plan that can be use for the entire season. We have purchase the license to access these resources to make it available to you so you can help your child get the most of her softball experience. To access the available modules on this page will require a password. The number of licenses to access these paid resources are limited. Password will be issued upon request if your child is currently registered for spring 2011. Please send an email to leaguecoordinator@carlsbadsoftball.org and request for the password. |
